All I want to add here is not a bunch of ties to any “exotic” Latin-script fonts with an Arabic feel. The fonts here are genuine Arabic fonts fit for use in any Arabic or Persian style (Farsi).
As you might have found, there are not so many companies that produce Arabic fonts. The explanation for that may be that by designing Arabic or Persian typefaces, one cannot make any money. But most attempts in this area are made by a few companies outside the Middle East (like Linotype, Monotype, and a few others). I will mention them all in another post about commercial Arabic and Persian (Farsi) fonts shortly, but here I will present the current free fonts that I find most useful. Many of them are made by help from the local governments (Uthman, Nastaliq, Neirizi), and individuals make many others. You can use these Arabic/Persian/Farsi Fonts Sets in any Arabic-script language, including Arabic, Persian (Farsi), Dari, Kurdish (Sorani), Punjabi, Pashto, Urdu, Kashmiri, Sindhi, and Uyghur.
